James Bloomfield L. Ac. has been interested in mental health since 1988 when he began his undergraduate studies in Psychology as a complement to the Humanities degree he had already earned at the University of Colorado. His concern for humanity and desire to help others led to the study of Chinese Medicine in 2000 at Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine. After completing graduate school and getting licensed in 2004, James and his wife founded Larchmont Traditional Medicine, a private clinic in Los Angeles offering acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and therapeutic bodywork. Through the wholistic concepts and gentle techniques of Traditional Chinese Medicine, James helps patients confronted with illness and pain find renewed health and well-being. Mr. Bloomfield lives in Los Angeles with his wife and three children.
